Since 1998 we have been developing business and consumer websites for a variety of businesses and individuals. Whether you require a corporate-wide, enterprise-level website containing hundreds (or even thousands) of pages or a small micro-site, we have the development experience.
Our expertise falls into four primary site development types:
These projects normally require a specialized content management system that focuses on categorizing and cataloging clients’ numerous products. We design and create the databases and then link those databases to dynamic pages that allow the client to easily update, publish and de-publish specific product page/catalog page information. Recently we have become focused on integrating the specialized aspects of content management inside a broader open-source content management tool. This provides our clients more flexibility and the option of using their own internal staff to update much of the content on their websites. We also provide content updating services on behalf of our clients, depending upon client needs.
These are smaller projects that involve creating specialized sites which focus on a client’s single product, promotion or marketing initiative. These concentrated sites take advantage of being specifically targeted. The site usually consists of 4-10 pages of targeted information.
Often, clients have an existing first- or second-generation site that they would like to update easily on a regular basis. Many times the initial site developers are no longer in the picture, and clients need assistance in making modifications to a previously developed site. On these types of projects, we perform website forensics and search engine analysis to see how the site was put together, how the site is organized, and how successful the current site is in terms of search engine rankings and inbound links. Based upon the clients’ goals and the budget, we determine whether it would be more beneficial to modify the current site or to create a new website that would be easier to manage.
These websites are separate and apart from a corporation’s main site. We set up the sites using open-source content management tools such as Joomla or Wordpress. These sites are intended to be modified regularly by our clients’ editorial contributors. Consequently our services focus on the installation, configuration, and modification of existing open-source tools. Once the site is created, we provide training services to the clients’ writers and editors so they can update content and add images or links to documents without the need for a programmer. Thereafter, we provide maintenance or hosting services and enhancement services, such as adding new forms or calendars or other more complex site features.
